Coach Gatti brings a physical, detail-driven approach to Principia football, shaped by his experience competing and developing in one of college football’s most demanding environments.
A standout offensive lineman from Parkway North High School in St. Louis, Missouri, Gatti was one of the top recruits in the state and a nationally recognized offensive tackle prospect. He earned first-team All-State honors as a senior after anchoring his line and helping Parkway North reach deep into the state playoffs. He also was named Suburban South Conference Offensive Player of the Year and collected multiple all-conference and all-district awards before committing to play at the University of Missouri. Ranked among the nation’s top offensive tackle prospects, Gatti’s high-school performance established him as a blocker with size, strength, and an advanced understanding of the position’s fundamentals.
At Missouri, Coach Gatti continued to refine his craft as an offensive lineman in the Southeastern Conference. Competing in the trenches at the SEC level sharpened his technique, toughness, and leadership. He battled through injuries early in his collegiate career but worked his way into the rotation and eventually earned time as a starter on the offensive front.
Now as Principia’s offensive line coach, Gatti is committed to developing fundamentally sound linemen who take pride in preparation and physicality. He emphasizes technique, toughness, and attention to detail while teaching athletes to compete aggressively and play for one another. His goal is to build a unit that sets the tone for the entire team through discipline and effort.
