Rob Terrell serves Principia School in multiple roles, including Sports Information Director, Assistant Football Coach, and Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. With more than 14 years of coaching experience, he brings a broad skill set that blends sports communication, strength and conditioning, and thoughtful use of technology in athletics.
Rob holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and a master’s degree in Exercise Science with a focus on performance enhancement and injury reduction. He is certified through the NSCA as both a CPT and CSCS, and is a USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach. His work is grounded in a holistic approach to coaching, with an emphasis on developing the whole person, not just the athlete.
Influenced by coaches who made a lasting impact on his own life, Rob is committed to creating environments where athletes are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow in character as well as performance. He believes athletics are a powerful storytelling platform, one that reveals grit, integrity, and purpose beyond the scoreboard.
Rob has also contributed to the development of strength and conditioning programming at Principia College, and continues to approach his work with a focus on service, collaboration, and doing things the right way.
